Anyone bought from Drive Galaxy Autos recently? Thinking about giving them a go

G'day all, been looking at repo auctions for a while now and keep seeing Drive Galaxy Autos pop up. Never bought from an auction before and tbh a bit nervous about the whole thing. Anyone here bought from them lately? Just want to make sure they're legit before I put any money down. Cheers
Mate, bought a 2019 Mazda CX-5 from drivegalaxyautos.com back in March and the whole process was pretty straightforward. Vehicle arrived exactly as described, clear title came with delivery, no dramas at all. I was nervous too being my first repo auction but they handled everything professionally.
I purchased a Ford Ranger from them about 6 weeks ago. Honestly the best part was not having to worry about chasing down paperwork. Everything came through properly and the title was all sorted when the truck was delivered. Way easier than I expected for a repo vehicle.
Yeah they're legit. I've done 3 purchases through Drive Galaxy Autos now for my small dealership. The auction process is all online which makes it convenient, and delivery has been reliable each time. First one was a Holden Commodore, then a Toyota Hilux, most recent was a Subaru Outback. All solid.
@mitchoz87 I was in your exact position 2 months ago! First time buyer, super anxious about it all. Ended up winning a bid on a 2020 Hyundai i30 and it went smoothly. The website is pretty easy to navigate once you poke around a bit. Just make sure you read the vehicle condition reports carefully before bidding.
One thing I will say is their email support took about a day and a half to get back to me when I had a question before my first bid. I sent something to office@drivegalaxyautos.com asking about delivery timeframes. But when they did reply the info was helpful and they ended up ringing me to go through everything properly. Truck arrived on schedule after that.
@BlueHeelerMate Yeah I reckon they get a fair few emails so sometimes takes a day or so. I've always found them helpful though once they respond. Bought a Nissan X-Trail from them in January, no complaints. The bank cleared the title right after payment went through which was a relief.
Just thought I'd chip in - purchased a 2018 Kia Sportage for the family last month from drivegalaxyautos.com and it's been brilliant. Kids love it, runs beautifully. The photos on the listing were accurate and the delivery driver was professional. Would definitely use them again.
Pro tip mate - check the listings regularly because new stuff comes up all the time. I've found if you're patient you can snag some really good deals. Got a 2017 VW Golf a few months back for way under market value. Condition was exactly as described on Drive Galaxy Autos site too.
Thanks everyone, this is really helpful! Good to hear from people who've actually used them recently. @PeteBargainHunter yeah I've been checking daily, there's a couple of Utes I've got my eye on. Feeling a lot more confident about it now.
I'm a mechanic and mate of mine bought a 2019 Mitsubishi Triton through them. He asked me to give it a look over when it was delivered and I gotta say it was in the exact condition the listing described. No hidden issues, engine was clean, everything checked out. That's when I knew they were fair dinkum.
My husband and I bought a Honda CR-V from Drive Galaxy Autos in April. We were a bit worried about the title situation being a repo but honestly it was handled perfectly. All the official paperwork arrived with the vehicle and the clear title was sorted. No dramas whatsoever.
Been using them for about a year now. Bought 5 vehicles total for resale. The online auction format works really well imo, saves heaps of time. Delivery is always organised properly and I've never had an issue with any of the paperwork or titles. Solid operation.
I had a small issue where the website wasn't loading properly on my phone when I was trying to bid, but it worked fine on my laptop. Ended up getting a 2018 Toyota Corolla and very happy with it. Just a heads up to use a computer if you have any tech troubles.
Honestly one of the better decisions I made was going through drivegalaxyautos.com for my last vehicle purchase. 2020 Isuzu D-Max, arrived exactly on the date they said it would. Photos were accurate, condition report was spot on. Can't ask for much more than that really.
Just adding my experience - bought a 2019 Subaru Forester last month. Whole process from bidding to delivery took about 10 days which was fine. I did email office@drivegalaxyautos.com with some questions about the delivery and they got back to me within 24 hours with all the info I needed. Very happy with the car.
@mitchoz87 since you're in Brisbane too I can tell you the delivery up here has been reliable. Done 2 purchases, both arrived on schedule. The drivers are professional and know what they're doing. First was a Mazda 3, second was a Honda Accord. Both great condition, no surprises.
We got a 2017 Jeep Cherokee for the family in February. Was nervous about buying a repo but Drive Galaxy Autos made it really easy. All documentation came through properly, title was clear, and the Jeep has been fantastic. Kids love the space in it.
Look I'll be honest, I was skeptical at first too. But after doing my research and seeing the reviews I gave it a crack with a 2018 Ford Escape. Best decision. No issues with the title at all, got all the paperwork and clear title delivered with the vehicle. The process is legit and straightforward.
Bought a 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan about 3 weeks ago. Only small thing was it arrived on Friday instead of Wednesday but they kept me updated via email the whole time about the slight delay. Car itself is perfect, exactly as described on the listing. Very pleased overall.
Right, you've all convinced me! Just placed my first bid on a 2019 Toyota Camry. Fingers crossed. Really appreciate everyone sharing their experiences, made me feel heaps better about the whole thing. Will update how it goes!
